Skedsmo Church - more than 800 years old

Skedsmo commune is a community about 20 km north-east of Oslo. It has about 43 000 inhabitants and is one of the fastest growing areas in Norway. Lillestrøm City is its urban centre with a terminal for the high speed airport railway – just 10 minutes from Oslo and 12 minutes from Oslo Airport Gardermoen. In Lillestøm you also will find Norway largest congress and exhibition arena – Norway Trade Fair. At Kjeller in Skedsmo you will find an eminent technology Centre with more than 300 doctorates employed. Kjeller has a long history of innovation and one of the oldest running airports of the world.

Skedsmo Nord Rotary Club’s meetings take place every Tuesdays at 07:00 p.m. in Skedsmo Center, Meeting room Farseggen (Furuholtet 1, at Skedsmokorset, just 3-4 minutes from the high-way E6 running between Oslo and Gardermoen). It’s about 20 km from Oslo. Please see a map under MØTER - Møtested.
